The purpose of the Multicultural Greek Council at the University of Florida is to unite and serve the ethnic greek community. All members of the Multicultural Greek Council experience Greek Life in a very unique and exciting way. Each organization creates their own life long bonds between brothers and sisters. Ultimately, we build families.
Joining an MGC organization gives its members great opportunities for networking personally and professionally. Although many of our organizations are specific to a culture, we embrace men and women of all different backgrounds. Multicultural Greek Council organizations take pride in the diversity of their membership. Respect and knowledge for various cultures are a major focus of all MGC organizations.
Not just secluded to our own community, the Multicultural Greek Council also collaborates and interacts with other Greek Councils such as the National Panhellenic Council, the Panhellenic Council, and the Interfraternity Council here at UF. We work together in providing service and leadership to our communities and each other.
